(La Nouvelle République)-The European Union has launched the “Acting Together” campaign in Lomé, the first communication initiative under its Global Gateway strategy in Togo. The goal is to highlight concrete projects realized through the partnership between the EU, its member states, and the Togolese government.
Over several weeks, the campaign will share real stories through testimonials, videos, and visuals, showing how European cooperation improves people’s lives across the country. From women shea butter processors in Kalaré to local initiatives in Kpalimé, Kpala, and Aného, the impacts are tangible and visible.
According to Stéphane Devaux, EU Chargé d’affaires in Togo: “We are building and moving forward together. These are real stories, lived by local actors who are transforming their daily lives thanks to this partnership.”
The campaign focuses on three priority areas: supporting green growth in response to climate change, promoting youth innovation and entrepreneurship, and improving access to essential infrastructure and services. It aims to increase the visibility of cooperation results and inspire further development initiatives for a more inclusive and sustainable Togo.
The campaign will be broadcast on television, radio, print media, and social networks to reach a wide audience and amplify the voices of local actors engaged in this partnership.
